12-Day Tour from Marrakech to The Coast, Atlas and Desert

Starting in Tangier, you travel toward Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided walk through the blue medina (2–3 hours), followed by free time to explore its peaceful streets, local cafés, and panoramic viewpoints. The journey continues to Fes, where you will experience a full-day guided cultural tour (6–7 hours) through the ancient medina, artisan quarters, and historic sites. During your stay, you will also take part in a Moroccan cooking class (3–4 hours), learning to prepare traditional dishes in a local setting. Traveling south, you cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, with scenic stops in Ifrane and the cedar forests, before following the Ziz Valley toward the Sahara. Instead of the more crowded areas, you arrive in the remote and authentic Ouzina region near Merzouga, offering a quieter desert experience. Here, you will enjoy a 4x4 desert exploration (half day, approx. 4–5 hours) visiting nomadic families, fossil areas, and hidden oases. The experience continues in the nearby Sidi Ali Desert, where you will take a camel ride at sunset (approx. 1 hour) through the dunes. You will then arrive at your desert camp for a traditional evening including dinner, live Berber music, and stargazing. The following day includes optional ATV/quad biking (1–2 hours) and time to explore surrounding villages and landscapes at a relaxed pace before beginning the return journey through the Atlas Mountains, with scenic stops along the way, ending in Fes or another preferred destination.
