3-Day Trek: Imlil – Tazaghart Refuge – Base Camp – Toubkal Summit

Starting in Marrakech, you will be taken to the picturesque village of Imlil, surrounded by the Atlas Mountains and traditional orchards. As you begin the hike, your eyes will be filled with panoramic views of green valleys, Berber villages, and cultivated terraces. You will climb the Tizi Mezzik Pass, traversing waterfalls and rocky trails while breathing in the fresh mountain air. Upon arriving at the Tazaghart refuge, you will feel the tranquility of being surrounded by untouched wilderness. The next day, you will climb to the Tizi Aguelzim pass and behold the majestic summit of Toubkal for the first time. You will descend to Base Camp, passing by streams, alpine meadows, and small traditional settlements. Spending the night at the refuge will allow you to rest and admire the starry skies. Finally, you will begin your ascent to the summit of Toubkal at dawn, watching the first rays of sunlight illuminate the mountains and the Sahara Desert to the south. The thrill of standing at the summit, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and endless landscapes, is complemented by the descent through the Ouawgant Valley to Aremd and the return to Imlil, bringing this unique experience of nature, culture, and adventure to a close.
