From Fes: 3-Day Sahara Desert Tour to Marrakech

Travel from Fes to Marrakech through the Middle and High Atlas Mountains. Ride camels and sandboard in Erg Chebbi, explore Todra Gorge and Ait Benhaddou, and stay one night in a Sahara camp and one in Dades Valley. Includes transport, 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners. Atlas scenery, sunset camel ride and desert camp

Leave Fes with hotel/riad pickup or a nearby accessible meeting point. Stop in Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou, then follow the Ziz Valley to Merzouga. Ride a camel through Erg Chebbi at sunset, try sandboarding and enjoy dinner and traditional music at camp. Spend the night in a Standard or Luxury camp according to your option. A free 4x4 transfer is available instead of camels on request.

Desert sunrise, Todra Gorge and Dades overnight

Wake for sunrise over the dunes and enjoy breakfast at camp. Return by camel or 4x4, then travel towards Tinghir to explore the cliffs and river scenery of Todra Gorge. Continue through Dades Valley past kasbahs and mountain landscapes. Dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel or guesthouse are included. Lunches and drinks are extra.

Ait Benhaddou and the High Atlas to Marrakech

After breakfast, travel towards Ouarzazate along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Visit UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou; a local guide is optional and costs extra. Cross the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, with mountain scenery on the way. Arrive in Marrakech around 6:00 PM for drop-off, depending on traffic and stops.

This route involves long drives with regular stops. Includes one desert camp night and one Dades hotel/guesthouse night, 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners. Standard camp bathrooms are shared; Luxury and Private options have ensuite tents. Lunches, drinks and the optional Ait Benhaddou guide cost extra.
