10-day trekking adventure in the Central High Atlas, culminating at the summit of Mount M'Goun (4068 m), the second-highest mountain in Morocco. This journey combines breathtaking landscapes, authentic Amazigh culture, and one of the most rewarding mountain treks in North Africa. Your adventure begins in the lush Aït Bouguemez Valley, often called the “Happy Valley,” known for its apple orchards, walnut trees, and ancient terraced agriculture. Over eight days of trekking, you will cross remote valleys, high mountain passes, and vast nomadic plateaus while visiting traditional Amazigh villages rarely reached by mass tourism. The trek continues through the spectacular M'Goun Gorge, one of the most impressive canyon landscapes in Morocco, before finishing in the legendary Roses Valley. Along the way, meet shepherds and nomadic families, share mint tea in mountain camps, and experience the rhythm of life in the High Atlas Mountains. Crossing mountain roads and the Oughbar Pass (2200 m), arrive in Aït Bouguemez Valley and stay with a local Amazigh family in the village of Timit.
