Full description

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Skoura – Dades Valley Begin your adventure with pickup in Marrakech and a scenic drive across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass. Stop along the way to admire spectacular mountain landscapes and traditional Amazigh villages. Continue to Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco's most famous fortified villages and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its narrow streets, ancient buildings, and panoramic viewpoints with a local guide. Continue toward Ouarzazate and then to the beautiful Skoura Oasis. Visit the historic Kasbah Amridil and discover the traditional architecture and history of southern Morocco. Continue through the Valley of Roses toward the spectacular Dades Valley. Enjoy dinner and spend the night in a comfortable local hotel or kasbah. Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Rissani – Merzouga Sahara After breakfast, continue toward the impressive Todra Gorge. Enjoy a short walk between the towering canyon walls and take time to appreciate the dramatic landscape. Continue through the changing landscapes of southeastern Morocco toward Erfoud and Rissani. If your visit coincides with a traditional market day, experience the lively atmosphere of the Rissani souk and discover local products and traditions. Continue to Merzouga, where the landscape suddenly changes into the golden dunes of the Sahara. Meet your camels and begin your sunset trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Stop on a high dune to watch the sun disappear over the Sahara before continuing to your desert camp. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber-style hospitality, and live traditional music around the campfire. Spend the night beneath the stars in the Sahara. Day 3: Sahara – Nomadic Life – Khamlia – Marrakech Wake early to experience one of the highlights of the journey: sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, leave the camp and explore the Merzouga region. Visit a local nomadic family and learn about their traditional way of life in the desert. Continue to Khamlia, a village famous for its Gnawa musical heritage. Meet local musicians and experience traditional Gnawa music. Discover the desert's unique landscapes and learn about the area's fossils and geological history. After lunch, begin the long but scenic journey back toward Marrakech, passing through changing landscapes and traditional villages. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening.
