Marrakech to Merzouga: 3-Day desert tour with Luxury Camp

Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley Begin your adventure with an early departure from Marrakech. Travel through the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n'Tichka pass, with stops for panoramic views and photos. Continue to the famous ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed village known for its traditional mud-brick architecture and film locations. After lunch, continue toward Ouarzazate and drive along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Pass through Skoura oasis and the Valley of Roses before reaching the Dades Valley. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel or riad. Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga – Camel Ride – Desert Camp After breakfast, continue your adventure toward Todra Gorge. Walk along the impressive canyon with its high rock walls and peaceful river. After lunch, head toward Merzouga, where the golden dunes begin to appear. Upon arrival, meet your camel guide and begin your sunset camel ride across the dunes. Enjoy the peaceful silence of the desert and stop to admire the changing colors of the sand. Arrive at your desert camp, where you will be welcomed with mint tea. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner followed by drum music around the campfire. Spend the night in a private desert tent under the starry Sahara sky ( Stargazing ). Day 3: Sunrise – Merzouga – Draa Valley – Marrakech Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at the camp, return by camel or 4x4 to Merzouga village. Begin the return journey to Marrakech via the Draa Valley, passing palm groves, desert landscapes, and traditional villages. Stop for lunch along the way before arriving in Marrakech in the evening.
