After being picked up from your accommodation or a nearby meeting point, your day trip begins with a scenic drive from Marrakech. Our journey begins with a scenic drive through the foothills, leading us to the lively town of Tahanaout. Here, we will visit a women’s cooperative to learn about the traditional production of argan oil, a key ingredient in Moroccan cuisine and beauty products. As we sip fresh mint tea, we’ll gain insight into the Amazigh way of life, where craftsmanship and community are deeply valued. Continuing into the mountains, we’ll pass through Asni, a picturesque Berber village known for its terraced fields and weekly market, where locals from surrounding mountain communities gather. From here, we can admire breathtaking views of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa, while observing the daily rhythms of village life in the highlands. We then make our way to Imlil, a charming village nestled at the foot of the mountains and a popular base for trekkers.
