Day Trip to Ourika Valley & Atlas Mountains with Camel Ride

Meet your driver in the early morning at your hotel or riad in Marrakech and set off on a scenic journey through the beautiful Ourika Valley and the High Atlas Mountains. Travel across the El Haouz Plain while enjoying breathtaking views of traditional Berber villages, rivers, and mountain landscapes. Your first stop is Tahnaout, where you'll enjoy a 25-minute camel ride before visiting a local women's argan oil cooperative to discover how Morocco's famous argan oil and natural cosmetic products are traditionally made. Continue through the picturesque Ourika Valley, passing authentic Berber villages and terraced hillsides. Stop at panoramic viewpoints to admire the scenery and learn about the local culture and traditions from your knowledgeable guide. Drive along winding mountain roads toward Asni, where you'll have the opportunity to visit the traditional weekly Berber market on Saturdays. From there, continue to the charming village of Imlil, the gateway to Toubkal National Park. Begin a guided hike through the Berber village of Aroumd and enjoy spectacular mountain views before reaching a refreshing waterfall, where you'll have time to relax with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. After the hike, visit a traditional Berber family home to enjoy a delicious homemade Moroccan lunch prepared with fresh local ingredients. Following lunch, return to Imlil village, where your driver will be waiting to take you back to Marrakech.
