From Marrakech - 4-Day Atlas Mountains & Sahara Desert Tour

Day 1: Marrakech → High Atlas → Ait Benhaddou → Dades Gorge Depart Marrakech and cross the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and historic caravan fortress. Continue through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses to reach Dades Gorge. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided hike in the Monkey Fingers Canyon, exploring impressive rock formations and Berber villages. Overnight: Riad or guesthouse in Dades Valley. Day 2: Dades → Todra Gorge → Sahara Desert (Erg Chebbi) After breakfast, drive toward the spectacular Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most impressive canyons. Continue through palm oases and desert landscapes until reaching Merzouga and the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy a camel ride across the dunes, watch the sunset, and spend the night in a Sahara desert camp with traditional dinner and music under the stars. Overnight: Desert camp. Day 3: Sahara → Roses Valley → Cultural Experience at Ecolodge Aroma Dades After sunrise in the desert, travel through desert plains and valleys toward the beautiful Roses Valley. Enjoy a traditional lunch in the valley, followed by a guided hike and canyoning experience in the surrounding landscapes. Visit a nomadic family to share tea and learn about their traditional lifestyle. In the afternoon, arrive at Ecolodge Aroma Dades, where you will take part in a hands-on Moroccan cooking class with a Berber family, using fresh herbs and ingredients from the garden. Dinner is shared together followed by local music and cultural exchange. Overnight: Ecolodge Aroma Dades. Day 4: Morning Valley Walk → Atlas Mountains → Marrakech Start the day with a peaceful morning hike through the valley, exploring gardens, kasbah ruins, and traditional Amazigh villages. After breakfast, begin the scenic journey back across the High Atlas Mountains toward Marrakech, arriving around 6:00 PM.
