Ourika Valley & Atlas Mountains Private Day Trip

Join us from your hotel in Marrakech between 8:00am and 8:30am and drive south into the Atlas Mountains. The road follows the Ourika Valley, passing red hills and small Berber villages along the way. We stop at a women-run argan oil cooperative where you can see how argan oil is made by hand and learn about its place in Moroccan culture. Next, we visit a local Berber family home. You will get a simple and honest look at daily life in the mountains. We continue up the valley for a short hike. Your guide leads you along the river to enjoy the scenery and fresh mountain air. Enjoy free time beside the river with a glass of Berber tea or lunch at your own cost. We drive back to Marrakech and drop you off at your hotel around 1:00pm.
